(Thorington Pit) - 2005

(Thorington Pit) - 2005

Collecting is done by searching the scree slopes and surface floor. Occasional bone fragments can be found. During its working time, large mammal remains frequently came from this pit, but since them it is slowerly becoming overgrown and over picked.

Other fossils such as shells can be found from the glacial beds at the back of the pit.
